Hey lovely PMU artist 👋

Let’s talk about a strategy that feels illegal… but it’s not. It’s just marketing.

There’s one tiny requirement though:

You need an
existing lead list. Past DMs. Old inquiries. “I’ll book later” people.

(Translation: you already have this. You just forgot about them like that gym membership.)

Step 1: We did the thing everyone says they’ll do… and never does

We stopped worshipping “new leads” and went straight for the money sitting in the inbox.

We had 499 past leads who never booked.

So we ran a Valentine’s promo: $100 OFF + limited spots

(because humans love scarcity like toddlers love candy).

Here’s the exact DM we blasted:

Hey {FirstName} 🥀 Roses fade. Brows should not. $100 OFF for Valentine’s appointments Jan 20 – Feb 7. I only have 5 spots — want first dibs on times?

And yes… {FirstName} is on purpose.

My software swaps it with each person’s name so it doesn’t feel like we copy-pasted a “hey girlie 💕” message to half the planet.

Because nobody likes feeling like Lead #487.

Results (aka: the inbox started breathing)

499 DMs sent → 55 replies → 7 deposits collected the same evening → $2.5K$ booked

Read that again!

$0 spend. $2.5K booked. Same night.


That’s like finding money in your winter coat.

Okay cool… but where does $25K come from?

Great question.

Because the DM blast is just the spark.

The Gasoline is Meta ads.

From September → December:

Revenue tracked from ads: $22,375

Ad spend: $2,276


That’s roughly ~10x ROAS

So here’s the “wild” part:

We take the $2,500 booked from the $0 DM blast

…and reinvest it into the same ads that averaged ~10x ROAS.

$2,500 → ~$25,000 (in tracked revenue), assuming performance stays similar.

That’s the loop:

Reactivate → Collect Deposits → Reinvest → Scale → Repeat.

And suddenly your “slow weeks” start looking like a bad memory.

May Update: Did We Actually Hit $25k?

When I first wrote this case study, the $25K number was a prediction.

Not fake guru math.

Not “manifest it and light a candle” math.

Real math based on what her ads were already doing.

At the time, we had already taken money from the DM blast, reinvested it into Meta ads, and the campaign was sitting around a 10x ROAS.

So the question was simple:

If we spend around $2,500 on ads… can we turn that into about $25,000 in booked revenue?

Well… here’s the update.

As of May, the ad account spent $2,323.32.

That means we still had about $170 left before even hitting the full $2,500 budget.

And the revenue?

She was only about $500 short of $25K.

Read that again.

We didn’t even finish spending the full ad budget yet…

…and she was already almost at the $25K mark.

So yes — by the time the full $2,500 was spent, the campaign didn’t just “maybe” hit the target.

It was on track to pass it.
